GMC was named as a finalist for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International (ASME) Global Pipeline Award. The award recognises outstanding innovations and technological advances in the field of pipeline transportation, and GMC was nominated for its Intelligently Connected Pipe (ICP鈩�).
The Award acknowledges the pipeline technology innovation process in all phases; from the research laboratory through field application.
GMC海角吃瓜网檚 ICP鈩� features include an ISO certified, fatigue resistant, innovative reusable pin and a box style mechanical connector that is pre-manufactured to the pipe ends onshore in a controlled environment, eliminating the need for time consuming offshore welding and expensive installation and lay vessels.
