World dzԹ,
Element Materials Technology has opened a new materials testing and failure analysis facility in Hengelo, the Netherlands, continuing the companydzԹs strategic long-term investment in the Oil & Gas testing sector.
The new laboratory further strengthens ElementdzԹs materials testing and product qualification testing (PQT) capabilities and expands the companydzԹs capacity, particularly within mechanical testing and failure analysis in metal and polymer applications. This significantly increases the number of tests available from the new facility and enables Element to reduce its turnaround times by 20% by serving as a single, trusted testing partner for its clientsdzԹ projects.
Rod Martin, ElementdzԹs Executive Vice President, Oil & Gas, who attended the opening ceremony on February 10, comments: dzԹElement Hengelo occupies a significant place in the history of Element, with it being the site of the companydzԹs first-ever laboratory, built by Stork in 1912. Our new state-of-the-art facility in Hengelo demonstrates our commitment to continue investing in the future of the Oil & Gas industry. We remain vigilant about current industry forecasts, but our established partnerships with Major clients and ongoing involvement in advanced-stage projects means that our position remains business as usual.dzԹ
Rod Martin concludes: dzԹThe Hengelo opening event was both a celebration of our heritage and the beginning of another successful chapter in ElementdzԹs history.dzԹ
