Following the completion of a similar large-scale contract for Qatargas, STATS Group has recently been awarded an emergency pipeline repair system (EPRS) contract, worth in excess of £6.5 million. The contract is for ten years work with another major LNG operator in the Middle East.

As highlighted by STATS海角吃瓜网� Middle East Business Development Manager, Vikas Shangari: 海角吃瓜网淪TATS has executed in excess of 40 isolation projects in the Middle East, ranging from 2 in. to 48 in. on oil, gas and utility pipeline systems.海角吃瓜网�

Effective repair on subsea and onshore pipelines

STATS Group海角吃瓜网檚 scope of work for this new contract includes designing, manufacturing and testing pipeline isolation and intervention equipment for a range of pipeline sizes 海角吃瓜网� from 16 - 38 in.

The contract includes the supply of double block and bleed isolation tools, subsea monitoring and communication systems, 32海角吃瓜网� and 38海角吃瓜网� BISEP intervention tools, and hot tapping equipment.

Installation of isolation and intervention tooling suites will provide positive isolation and a safe environment to carry out effective repair on subsea and onshore pipelines, if they are damaged.
