Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that it has received a contract for detailed engineering of facilities associated with the Tuxpan-Tula Pipeline Project in Mexico.

TransCanada is the builder, owner and operator of the pipeline, which is supported by a 25 year natural gas transportation service contract with the Comisi贸n Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico's state-owned power company.

Bonatti S.p.A. is the prime contractor.

As subcontractor for pipeline facilities, Jacobs is providing engineering, procurement and field engineering support for the installation of a compressor station, a meter station and associated pipeline appurtenances along the 155 mile, 36 in. pipeline.
