FERC approves several natural gas pipeline projects

According to the US Energy Information Administration, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has certificated seven new interstate natural gas pipeline projects in 2017. These pipeline certifications have been granted following a FERC review of the construction and operation of each pipeline to ensure that applicants comply with safety standards.
