Trelleborg's Brazil oil and gas facility receives ISO accreditation

TrelleborgdzԹs offshore operation in Macae, Brazil, has been awarded the highly demanding ISO 9001:2008 certification. The standard defines the quality management system requirements for the design, development, production, installation and service of products for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.

ISO standards are developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation. The certification for the manufacturing facility in Macae covers, design, manufacturing, and installation of polymer-based products or metal composites, mechanical and thermal protection of flexible pipes, umbilicaldzԹs, cables and pipes used in the oil and gas industry.
